Role Details: Hours: 37 Hours per week Location: This is a dual based role working from Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire (2 days a week) and from home Role Summary: The main purpose of the role is to grow strategic planning and lead key projects across the organisation, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure adherence to the wider business objectives. This role will lead on the overall management and delivery of specified strategic projects across all areas of British Gymnastics and require performance monitoring of corporate strategic plans and priorities. The role will support managers throughout the business to develop and achieve strategic plans aligned to corporate priorities and will develop strategic and project management methodologies to ensure effective and responsive management of key investment projects and management resources. There may be a requirement for the delivery of strategic projects to be completed within a defined timescale, and/or within set budgetary limits. It is anticipated that the management and monitoring of the progress of the projects will be conducted through a relevant project plan, with such management and monitoring being linked to key milestones and targets. Where Project sub-groups exist, the post holder will co-ordinate the work of such sub-groups, monitoring the progress of their work against relevant sub-group project plans, which will link into completion of the total Project * Please refer to the Role Profile for Full details * Main Areas of Responsibility: 1. Co-ordinate and prioritise strategic projects Driving forward British Gymnastics' strategic plan through the support the delivery of corporate strategic priorities. Leading on the continual process for the collation, analysis and presentation of performance management data in relation to the plan and the priorities; maintaining scorecards and reports for the Executive Working with the Data, Insights and Impact team and other colleagues to leverage analytics to understand/rationalise the details behind the headlines to support corporate decision making/organisational responsiveness. 2. Support process and capability development for strategic planning across the organisation Growing the capability of the senior and middle management teams to understand and execute strategic planning at department level; helping them to differentiate business as usual from newstrategic initiatives and projects. Leading on the development of internal strategy planning and review processes, resources and practices e.g. roadmaps, KPIs and scorecards. Working with People Development colleagues to support training initiatives targeted at upskilling managers to think and plan strategically. 3. Oversee the execution of strategic project management Ensuring corporate strategy is realised through robust planning and project management, developing agile or other project management methodologies to ensure the organisation is to interna; and external factors e.g. service capacity, workload pressure points, customer satisfaction or perception, bproject complexity, skills availability etc. Ensuring effective management of key projects; introducing and developing an index or other methodology for measuring project effectiveness, value, impact etc Providing project assurance support to relevant stakeholders through independent project review/audit
