About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our experienced team supporting children and young people aged 3 to 19 with severe and complex learning difficulties. This is a full-time, term-time position with working hours from 8:50am to 3:40pm (one day finishing at 4:10pm).
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the education and development of children with special needs
Assisting with classroom activities and individual learning plans
Helping manage challenging behaviour with patience and understanding
Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Participating in training and professional development programs
What We’re Looking For:
A team player who is patient, tolerant, and empathetic
Someone who enjoys working with children with severe and complex needs
Experience or willingness to work with children who may display challenging behaviours
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
Availability for interviews as soon as possible
Hours & Pay:
30.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Monday to Friday, 8:50am – 3:40pm (one day finishing at 4:10pm)
Salary: Scale 2 point 3 to Scale 4 point 7

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
