As part of the Creative Restaurant Group, SUMI is inspired by the mastery of sushi chef Endo Kazutoshi and led by the skilled Head Chef Christian Onia, delivering exceptional Japanese dining experiences to London. Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a Chef de Partie who thrives in a high-paced, creative environment and has a deep love for Japanese cuisine. The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience as a Chef de Partie, ideally in a high-end restaurant or Michelin-starred kitchen. Bring a strong understanding of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and techniques. Be passionate about delivering exceptional quality and attention to detail. Work well under pressure and excel in a team environment. Be eager to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to the team’s success. Hold the legal right to work in the UK without corporate sponsorship. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards, showcasing creativity and precision. Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining smooth kitchen operations. Ensuring mise en place is completed efficiently and to specification. Maintaining a clean and organized work area in line with health and safety standards. Contributing ideas to menu development and improving kitchen processes.
