We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Development Finance and Analysis to join our team in Manchester!!!
We're looking for someone to lead finance responsibility for major new and existing investment opportunities (organic development, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, major regeneration scheme tenders and other growth routes) providing end-to-end transaction support, with a focus on the North region which covers an extensive geographical area.
You'll pro-actively support the Deputy Development Finance Director in providing high-level advice and strategic guidance to Group and subsidiary Boards and the Investment Committee on all matters of development finance and investment, deputising for the Deputy Development Finance Director as and when required. You'll also be responsible for managing a Regional Senior Development Finance Analyst and potentially on a matrix basis other wider finance and development staff. Ensuring accurate portfolio and programme reporting and forecasting will also be an element of this role.
We'll look to you to liaise with external advisors and colleagues in Development, Treasury, Tax, Company Secretariat, Legal and Finance to ensure major projects are appropriately structured and the impact on the Group's financial position is fully understood and the appropriate accounting impacts are considered, recorded and then monitored.
It is essential that you are a CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant with proven experience in property based investment finance and understanding of the market and relevant accounting standards. You'll also have a thorough understanding of housing, with demonstrable experience in the financial modelling of complex multi-tenure schemes and the ability to immediately add value in relation to the Group's portfolio.

This is a role with a base location at our offices in Manchester. Candidates will be expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week but this may increase at certain terms given the strong stakeholder element to this opportunity.
