Job Title: Assistant Headteacher New Independent Special School (Autism & SEMH) Location: Stanton-on-the-Wolds, Nottinghamshire Salary: £45,000 £53,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, permanent The School Opening in April 2026, our new independent special school, Lynwood School, will offer a specialist and nurturing education for up to 25 students with Autism and SEMH needs. Our ethos is centred on small classes, personalised learning, and a therapeutic approach that helps young people flourish. The Role As Assistant Headteacher, you will: Work in partnership with the Headteacher to lead the school through its opening and beyond. Drive excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum delivery. Take a lead role in safeguarding, behaviour, and wellbeing. Mentor and support staff to ensure high standards across the school. Build positive relationships with families and the wider community. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is: An experienced teacher and school leader (SEN experience essential).
