Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfilhas combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.
We are currently recruiting for an Intakes Team Leader on Nights. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday - 6.00pm to 3.00am with a salary of £17.05 per hour.
Must have +3 years’ experience working in a Warehouse environment and +1 years’ experience in leading a team.
Requirements:
* Ensuring health and safety policies are always followed.
* Leading the warehouse team to hit required targets.
* Ensuring stock is picked in rotation within the department.
* Ensure stock is fed through to production and returned if not needed accurately.
* Ensuring trailers are loaded and unloaded accurately and safely
* Ensuring stock is put away into storage accurately and safely
* Ensuring orders are picked accurately and safely
* Ensuring stock movement across whole site is completed accurately and safely
* Communication to all stakeholders is clear across all formats of communication.
* Ensuring stock accuracy.
* Ensuring stock is picked and moved in date rotation.
* Experience in using computers is essential.
* Ensuring all members of staff are working to the clean as you go policy.
