This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys the commercial side of accounting, working across multiple divisions and departments to help drive accuracy, efficiency, and value for the wider business. The role offers a great balance between financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, within a supportive, environment that encourages growth and development. Key responsibilities: Manage your own portfolio of clients, preparing year-end and management accounts, budgets, and forecasts. Work closely with the departments to ensure all deadlines are met and work is delivered to the highest standard. Oversee all aspects of client accounting from start to finish ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget. Review and finalise accounts, prepare detailed financial reports, and respond promptly to client queries. Deliver specialist advisory and project work, providing clear recommendations and technical insight. Managing and maintaining key financial agreements and data across multiple group divisions Providing insightful reporting and analysis to finance, procurement, and commercial departments Assisting in preparing annual budgets and forecasts for income streams across the group Contributing to process improvements, systems enhancements, and wider finance projects Keep up to date with accounting standards and legislation Your experience: Relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) Previous experience of working in a similar role Experience of handling a client portfolio Experience of training junior members of the team Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments Advanced Excel proficiency and strong IT capability For further information on this opportunity, or if youre considering your next step within finance, get in touch with James McCord @ HireIQ.
