Job Summary
As an Events Healthcare Professional, you will provide clinical care at various events such as music festivals, sports, and motoring events. You will be supported with modern equipment and work alongside volunteers and emergency services, demonstrating clinical leadership. Shifts are mainly during sociable hours, with some longer shifts.
About You
* Registered paramedic (excluding NQPs)
* Recent CPD activity within the last 12 months
* Degree level education or postgraduate study
* Recent experience managing acutely unwell patients in pre-hospital settings
* Experience with care pathway referrals
About the Role
* Willingness to work at various event deployments on a casual basis
* Deployments may include ambulance crew or stationed at treatment centers; flexibility required
* Deliver clinical care per regulatory standards (HCPC)
* Work within St John Ambulance's Scope of Practice
* Seek senior clinical help when needed
* Make timely referrals to other agencies as appropriate
* Maintain infection prevention and control standards
