Your role will include supporting service users to maintain and develop their daily living skills and improve independence.Our service operates 7 days per week between 7:30am and 10pm and we currently have several temporary vacancies within Glenfuir Court for a period of 3 months initially with various hours and shift patterns that will be discussed at interview.As an employee, you would receive a wide range of benefits including:* induction and developmental training* an hourly rate of £13.90* payment monthly for accrued annual leave calculated as a % of casual hours worked in the previous month* professional qualification (SVQ 2 Health & Social Care)* local government pension scheme* travel costs between visits are reimbursed within HMRC levelsA level of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service. Housing with care supports 4 building within the Falkirk Area and you may be required to work across all buildings at times.Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within the first 6 months of working with Falkirk Council is a requirement of the post. You will also be required to achieve an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care within an agreed timescale if you have not already achieved this award.If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.Registration with the SSSC is essential for this post.
