Based in Magherafelt, the business has built an international reputation for design excellence, product innovation and a relentless focus on enhancing everyday living.Job SummaryAs Operations Manager you will be responsible for driving operational performance across Production, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement.This is a strategic yet hands on role where you will lead and develop multifunctional teams, drive operational excellence and deliver improvements across operations. You'll shape and execute the operations strategy, embedding a strong safety first and continuous improvement culture while ensuring production capacity, resource planning and supply chain performance are fully aligned with demand, providing high quality product to our customer. Working closely with commercial and technical stakeholders, you'll play a key role in supporting the site's ongoing growth, strengthening customer delivery and building a highly engaged and capable workforce.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all aspects of daily operations including production, quality, supply chain, stores, facilities and projects execution.Implement strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.Support, coach and develop the Operations team in all aspects of their roles to create and deploy a dynamic, high performing and efficient team.Lead and optimise daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets (output, efficiency, cost).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Implement and maintain quality control measures within the production processes.Strong understanding of quality management system and processes.Efficiently allocate resources, including resource, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals and customer requirements.Ensure all products are manufactured to required technical, safety, and customer specifications.Promote a 'Safety First' Culture by ensuring that the site is meeting appropriate HSE and ISO standards and is legally compliant.Contribute to the development and execution of long-term operational strategies aligned with organisational goals.Oversee and Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimise the supply chain delivery, ensuring timely procurement of materials and componentsManage contractors and service providers effectively.All other duties as required at Management Level.Qualifications & ExperienceEssentialAt least 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role.Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.Experience managing at least one of the following: production, quality, supply chain and maintenance functions.Experience with ERP/MRP systems.Knowledge of industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO 9001 2015, BBSA Accreditation).Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skillsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and people management skillsAnalytical and data-driven decision-makingProblem-solving and root cause analysis expertiseExcellent communication and stakeholder managementChange management and transformation leadershipFinancial and commercial awarenessProject management capabilityWhat will we do for you?We offer competitive salary, a flexible approach to working hours, empowering you with the autonomy to manage your own workload, alongside the support of a friendly and collaborative team.
