Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plumbing Supervisor to oversee new build plumbing operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of plumbers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
* Lead and motivate a team of plumbers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and other specialised tools.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
* Conduct inspections of work sites to monitor quality control and resolve any technical issues promptly.
* Plan work schedules effectively to optimise productivity while maintaining safety standards.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labour hours for each project.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within commercial or industrial environments.
* Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills.
* Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and associated equipment.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations relevant to plumbing tasks.
* Experience with assembly processes and the use of various mechanical components.
* Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving if required for site travel or transporting materials.
