A specialist UK-based engineering consultancy, delivering systems engineering and integration expertise across maritime and defence programmes, is seeking a Senior Combat Systems Engineer to join its team.
This is a front-end engineering role focused on combat systems integration, analysis, and concept development. You'll lead analytical tooling development, assess system performance (latency, bandwidth, processing), and support next-generation maritime capability across crewed and uncrewed platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead systems integration analysis and tooling development
* Assess bandwidth, latency, and processing requirements
* Support maritime platform concept development
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and technical outputs
* Engage stakeholders and translate requirements into system architectures
* Contribute to concept studies, reports, and design reviews
Required Experience:
* Active SC Clearance
* Engineering degree (relevant discipline)
* 5+ years post-Chartership or 9+ years relevant experience
* Strong background in Combat Systems (CMS, sensors, effectors)
* Experience in warship design or concept-level work
* Proven leadership and systems integration expertise
