Business Legal Counsel
Par, Cornwall (Hybrid – up to 2 days WFH) | £80,000–£85,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hrs)
We’re hiring! Join our client, a global leader in mineral-based solutions, as a Legal Counsel supporting their EMEA Performance Minerals business area. This is a pivotal role providing integrated legal support across commercial markets and UK operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and real estate contracts.
* Advise on commercial property and preliminary environmental law matters.
* Manage claims, disputes, and insured losses in collaboration with external counsel.
* Oversee corporate housekeeping (AGMs, D&O appointments, POAs).
* Support M&A projects and roll out compliance programs (anti-bribery, GDPR, trade restrictions).
* Use digital legal tools to streamline operations and share knowledge.
What You’ll Bring
* Law degree (BSc) + Master’s in Business, International, or Contract Law.
* 4–5 years’ experience in business law (law firm or international industrial group).
* Strong generalist background; property/real estate expertise desirable.
* Fluent English (French is a plus).
* Flexible, organised, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
