Are you an experienced Service Engineer, looking to work on diesel generators in a field role, covering the Midlands? This Service Engineer opportunity offers hands on engineering work, customer interaction, and long term career development within a well established asset rental and energy business, operating throughout the Midlands. As a Service Engineer within Dawsongroup Energy Solutions, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel generators and associated hire equipment across customer sites. This role suits a practical, customer focused engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being trusted to get the job done right.
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on diesel generators
* Preparing and supporting generator equipment for hire contracts
* Planning and coordinating service visits, parts usage, and job reporting
* Providing technical advice to customers and colleagues when required
* Maintaining tools, equipment, and working areas safely and professionally
