Job title: Fostering Operations Manager
Reporting to : Director/ Responsible Individual and working alongside Registered Manager
* Key role and responsibilities
To develop policies and procedure that provide responses and interventions at a higher level in complex situations, within statutory guidelines and the statutory obligations of the Agency
1. To quality assure reports and documents to ensure appropriate evidence-based evaluation and evaluation of risk is evident on the foster carers and childrens files
2. To provide and share focused and purposeful social work interventions and identified frameworks, with explicit aims and objectives, about desired outcomes within the context of managing risk to children
3. Supervise senior social worker and administration staff
4. To help in the appraisal of the panel chair, and panel members
5. To mentor social workers and provide support to the Registered Manager and provide professional consultations
6. To take active part to grow and scale up the business by commissioning more foster carers and developing positive working relationships with local authorities
7. To help panel operations are run smoothly
8. To help with complying with Ofsted requirements and support the Director and registered Manager
