An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated, and patient-focused Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographers to join our friendly radiology team. This post would suit a newly-qualified radiographer or a third year student about to qualify.
The Hillingdon Hospital Radiology Department is undergoing a transformation with the procurement of new equipment, including a GE EVO CT scanner, a new OPG machine with cone‑beam CT, and two plain film DR rooms; an additional state‑of‑the‑art breast imaging unit has been built at Mount Veron; and services are now available at both the Hillingdon and Mount Veron hospitals.
During your first two years, you will consolidate and develop your general radiographic skills and acquire basic competencies in CT. Opportunities to train in MRI and US are open to all staff – posts are awarded on merit, not experience.
