We are looking for a highly organised PA to support a very busy office. This temporary assignment is working for a prestigious institution in Cambridge City Centre, with parking nearby!
As the PA, you will provide support to the Master, act as secretary to around three committees, and be a point of contact for the Fellows.
Role outline
The Master’s office is currently administered by the Master’s EA/Head of Governance and the Master’s Administrator. This is a very busy office, so we are looking for a highly organised and efficient PA to support the Master during their recruitment process. The current EA leaves in the first week of September, so our client would like a handover, ideally starting from the 18th or 26th August.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours and will be office-based until Christmas 2025.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* Private PA support to the Master
* Secretary to the Executive Body and Governing Body
* Secretary to smaller Committees
* Collating articles for the College magazine
* Administering Fellowship competitions
* Responding to a wide range of enquiries
* Point of contact for all Fellows
* Assisting with the allocation of rooms for new Fellows
Person Specification
Essential:
* Experience in administrative support roles, including 2+ years supporting senior leadership
* Ideally have worked in a College/Higher Education setting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
