We are seeking part-time Support Workers in Nelson for our Whānau Support Services.

You will support people in their homes and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, helping them achieve their personal dreams and goals by engaging in activities they enjoy such as swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping—the list is endless!

* Individuals passionate about helping others, kind, and understanding.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, including experience working with youth.
* A full driver's license and own vehicle are essential.
* A desire to support people in learning new skills and achieving outcomes.
* Someone with initiative, energetic, outgoing, and able to think outside the box. Respect for others' perspectives and lifestyles is important, especially when they differ from your own.
Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are vital in this role, as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
