Program Description
The 2‑year Graduate Programme gives you the chance to rotate around your chosen business area, gain a professional development qualification and work alongside experienced staff. You’ll receive a mentor and a buddy, as well as participate in development workshops that build the skills for a future leadership role in the Expo & Events logistics team.
In this role you will support customers with their shipping requirements, oversee and manage the entire process for exhibitions, and gain experience in sales, financial planning, international placement and large‑scale event logistics.
Responsibilities
* Lead the inbound and outbound sales process across a range of mediums.
* Identify commercial opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.
* Sourcing and procuring pricing and information from specialist suppliers.
* Manage the sales pipeline to ensure data and opportunities are captured efficiently.
* Attend networking events to stay abreast of industry developments and strengthen Kuehne+Nagel’s reputation.
* Coordinate shipping via air, sea and road to ensure smooth transport for exhibitions and events.
* On‑site project management and coordination of logistics at large exhibitions.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing needs promptly, professionally and courteously.
Qualifications
* 2:2 degree qualification (achieved or expected) and 5 GCSEs Grade A–C including Maths & English.
* Ability to travel within the UK and abroad to support events and an international placement.
* Full UK driving licence (or will be by start date) and access to transport.
* Strong work ethic, passion for excellent customer service and effective communication skills.
* Good planning, organisation, multitasking and self‑starter abilities.

Key Information
* Graduate Contract: 8th September 2025 – 5th September 2027.
* Working hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (additional hours such as weekends or evenings may be required).
* Place of work: Aston Office – Onsite (hybrid working may be available depending on placement rotations).
