Head of Asset Data & Systems | Bristol (Hybrid) | £80,000-£100,000
We are working with a growing, asset-focused organisation to appoint a senior Head of Asset Data & Systems to lead data strategy, governance, and systems across commercial and operational functions.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role will own the integrity, structure, and scalability of asset, operational, and commercial data. The successful candidate will oversee existing in-house data and asset management platforms, assess their suitability for future portfolio growth, and, where required, lead the transition to an integrated third-party system.
This is a strategic yet hands-on role, ideal for someone who can bridge technical delivery with commercial and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead data governance and quality frameworks across asset, operational, and commercial data
* Audit, standardise, and prepare data for system integration or migration
* Own and develop in-house asset and data systems
* Gather requirements from Asset Management, Commercial, Portfolio, and Field Service teams
* Manage system integrations across finance, O&M, and reporting tools
* Develop dashboards, KPIs, and automated reporting
* Build and lead a small cross-functional data and systems team
* Ensure data security, GDPR compliance, and best practice adoption
Candidate Profile
* Senior data, systems, or digital leader in an asset-intensive or operational environment
* Strong experience in data governance, system integration, and reporting
* Comfortable working at both strategic and hands-on levels
* Confident stakeholder manager with leadership experience
📍 Bristol - 3 days a week onsite
