Salary & Benefits: Overtime paid at half time and double time Company flexibility and understanding Working hours: 08:0016:30 MonThu, finish 15:30 Fri Paid door-to-door travel when field based The Role: As a Field Service Engineer, you will: Carry out planned services and maintenance of company equipment Fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues accurately Identify and use specialist equipment and connectors as required Set up equipment per contract customer and manufacturer specifications Modify generator fleet as instructed by the Technical Manager Attend equipment breakdowns and participate in the on-call rota Support team development through training and adherence to management systems (Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality) Handle ad hoc technical duties as needed The Candidate: The ideal Field Service Engineer will have: Experience repairing diesel engines and mechanical/electrical systems Knowledge of electronic systems and mechanical components (including engines and alternators) Flybrid, Hybrid, or Sync package commissioning experience Deep Sea knowledge and synchronising experience Excellent IT and communication skills Ability to work autonomously under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively Confident, professional, and customer-focused AVR experience advantageous but not essential If you are experienced as a Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Diesel Fitter, Maintenance Technician, or Service Technician, this Field Service Engineer role could be an excellent next step in your career.
