New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Secondary Science Teacher to work in secondary schools across Wallasey. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Science lessons and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Schools provide supportive, inclusive environments with a strong focus on academic achievement and student wellbeing.
The Role:
1. Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, depending on specialism)
2. Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that meet curriculum requirements
3. Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
4. Maintaining positive behaviour and an inclusive classroom environment
5. Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant UK teaching qualification
7. Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
8. Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
9. A passion for science and inspiring young learners
10. A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
