Children's Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner
Join us to apply for the Children's Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner role at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Children's Physiotherapy (PT) team at Crawley Child Development Centre (CDC) as a Band 4 Paediatric Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner. This is a part-time, permanent position supporting our PT Teams in the CDC and at schools, helping individuals and groups achieve their PT goals.
You will support registered clinicians in reviewing the goals of children and young people (CYP) using the service, working with parents/carers and schools to ensure optimal care. You will develop your skills within the Physiotherapy team to deliver interventions and treatments under the supervision of a qualified Physiotherapist. The role involves implementing treatment plans and working alongside a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, and Doctors.
Note: Due to recent UK immigration and visa rule changes, this role is unlikely to be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants without the right to work in the UK may not be considered. Please review eligibility criteria on the gov.uk website before applying.
You will assist Physiotherapists in daily duties, supporting children and young people with various difficulties, primarily under supervision. The role requires travel within Crawley/Horsham and occasionally wider areas within the trust, including visits to schools, clinics at CDC, and homes.
You will deliver support following care plans devised by registered clinicians.
