The school caters for pupils with a variety of complex needs, including

, physical disabilities, communication difficulties, and complex medical requirements. Staff work collaboratively to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment, ensuring every pupil receives tailored support to meet their individual goals.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with diverse SEN needs
Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and behaviour support
Support with personal care or medical needs where required
Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning plans
Contribute to a caring and positive atmosphere for all students
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
Experience supporting pupils with SEN
, particularly
SEMH
, autism, or complex medical needs
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Additional related training (e.g., Team Teach, Moving & Handling, Makaton, medical or safeguarding training) –
highly advantageous
Availability to start as soon as possible
