Overview of the role
newcleo is advancing an exciting international program to develop and deploy its innovative Lead-cooled Fast Reactor technology. We seek an experienced, proactive Project Planner to support the deployment of the LFR200 Reactor in the UK, France, and other countries.
The Project Planner will work closely with Construction, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Controls teams across the UK, France, and Italy. Your primary responsibility will be developing procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning schedules for the LFR200 deployment, requiring expertise in planning, scheduling, construction methods, and logistics.

Core duties & responsibilities
* Support planning activities across procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning
* Develop work breakdown structures and integrated schedules for construction and commissioning phases
* Maintain a Basis of Schedule for the project
* Identify key studies, strategies, and plans for schedule development
* Generate and communicate accurate schedule performance data
* Collaborate with the Supply Chain Management team

Location & Working Arrangements
The role can be based in London, Manchester, or Gloucester, with a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office per week. Travel opportunities to our offices in Turin (Italy) and Lyon (France) are available to foster collaboration across our global engineering team.

Candidate Profile
We are interested in candidates with:
* Experience managing complex multi-million-pound construction projects or programs, especially in regulated or safety-critical environments
* Proven track record in developing construction and commissioning schedules from early program stages to delivery
* Experience in the nuclear sector is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to deliver high-quality planning and scheduling services for complex projects
* Deep knowledge of planning tools such as MS Excel, MS Project, PRA, Primavera P6, Power BI
* P6 scheduling skills are required, with a focus on early-stage procurement, manufacturing, construction, and sequencing methods
* Right to work full-time in the UK and ability to obtain security clearance to BPSS standards or higher
