Join Our Team as a Finance Business Partner
Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? Brakes is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Corporate Commercial Finance Team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting our commercial team as they engage with some of our largest customers.
As you report to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll collaborate closely with our Commercial Account Managers to nurture existing customer relationships. Your insights and analyses will be crucial for strategic planning and decision-making. Get ready to dive into forecasting, customer reports, and monthly review packs that provide essential, accurate insights!
We embrace flexibility with a hybrid working model, requiring at least one day per week in our Ashford office, along with occasional face-to-face meetings as needed.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Conduct weekly and monthly forecasting, along with analysis of key variances.
* Ensure the month-end process is completed in line with internal deadlines.
* Prepare comprehensive Financial Evaluations.
* Guarantee that customer-facing reports are accurate and timely.
* Manage customer contracts to ensure alignment with Key Business Assumptions.
* Provide financial insights to Corporate Account Managers for enhanced understanding of customer performance.
* Oversee contracted customer rebate management.
* Prepare balance sheets with precision.
* Support the creation and presentation of Business Unit Review Packs.
* Act as a central point of contact for both internal and external customers.
* Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist the Senior Finance Business Partner in managing the sector and step in as needed.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a recently qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) who is currently thriving as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or Finance Analyst. If you’re a finalist with finance partnering experience in a relevant role, we want to hear from you!
To excel in this role, you should be driven by performance and possess the confidence to analyze trends and results. Strong Excel skills, particularly in financial analysis and modeling, are essential. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a commercial environment and is eager to expand their finance business partnering skills. You should be self-motivated and committed to delivering results while positively influencing key stakeholders.
