The Bath Journal of Social Sciences is the University of Bath's first student‑led journal, focusing on critical themes within the social sciences. It offers a platform for students to share their insights and ideas on key social topics and debates whilst gaining key experience in journalism, research and editing. We are currently looking for our next committee of budding students for the 2026‑27 academic year, which include:
* Editor-in-Chief: oversees the publishing process from start to finish - ensuring smooth communication between writers and editors & assuring impartiality throughout the process.
* Communications Officer: designs a range of social media posts and coordinates closely with the wider team to keep our members updated, using tools like Canva for our platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn).
* Secretary: the backbone of the team, doing a bit of everything behind the scenes - from stepping in to support with proofreading, communications, event‑planning, and whatever the edition demands.
All Committee Members are expected to attend Committee meetings and have a say in the article selection and publishing order.
