We're hiring a Financial Controller to lead the operational finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a high-impact role with end-to-end ownership: from delivering clear, actionable reporting to driving real commercial outcomes across both head office and store teams.
Leadership of the operational finance team-mentoring, supporting, and raising the bar
Delivery of timely, accurate management accounts, board reporting, and cashflow analysis
Payroll ownership across HQ and stores with insightful cost tracking
Year-end audit management and statutory reporting
Business partnering with senior leadership to drive commercial performance
Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in a retail-led environment
Excellent technical accounting skills and a commercial mindset
A cool head under pressure, strong attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills
