MCS are looking for Administrators to join our team on 15 June 2026. Mortimer Clarke Solicitors (MCS) is a specialist litigation law firm in Worthing, West Sussex, with a focus on high-quality customer service and regulatory compliance. The role is within a regulated environment and involves handling administrative tasks within our training and case support framework.
What you’ll be doing
* Participate in a dedicated Training programme with a 3-week induction led by a Learning & Development Trainer.
* Work within a structured team to support customer/third party correspondence and queries.
* Respond to correspondence from customers, third parties and courts, and prepare draft litigation documents for review.
* Engage with third parties/solicitors to assist with queries and case progression.
* Follow a clear development pathway with learning tools and a milestone framework to recognise learning and performance.
Working pattern, location and hours
Hybrid working: once competent, the pattern is 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. You will be on a 37.5-hour per week contract with Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm shifts. The first three weeks of training are in-office, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Salary and benefits
* Salary: from £24,999
* Performance-related quarterly bonus: up to around £400 per quarter
* 31 days holiday (pro rata) including bank holidays, with up to five additional unpaid days per year
* Training: 3 weeks with a dedicated L&D Trainer
