Job Title: Mobile Optometrist
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, 5 days out of 6. (Any weekend working will allow for a rota day off)

This exciting Mobile Optometrist role involves working across some of the most beautiful locations in the UK.
This position is ideal for an optometrist who wishes to leave retail aspects behind and focus on clinical care of ophthalmology patients. You will work across several Freedom Vision hospitals in the South West and South Wales.
Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on the location, with hotel accommodation provided, including breakfast and evening meals. A company car will also be provided.
About the role:
As a Freedom Vision Optometrist (mobile), your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting pre- and post-operative consultations.
2. Discussing available options with patients professionally.
3. Performing telephone pre-screening and discussions about lens options.
4. Collaborating with the Patient Liaison Manager and clinical team to ensure smooth operations.
5. Participating in CET delivery to community optometric partners.
6. Analyzing post-op data.
7. Adhering to clinical governance, policies, and procedures.
8. Reporting incidents or accidents appropriately.
9. Guiding SpaMedica Optoms on suitability for Refractive Lens Exchange.
10. Attending meetings with lens companies.
11. Completing mandatory training.
12. Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
What we are looking for:
* A qualified optometrist with current GOC registration.
* Individuals passionate about learning and pursuing higher qualifications.
* Previous hospital optometry experience is a plus but not essential; full training will be provided.
