Our friendly District Nursing team in Hamworthy/Upton/Lytchett in the Poole central locality is looking for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to join their team. Applicants can be newly qualified or experienced, as full training and support will be offered.
This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
The successful individual must be able to drive and have access to a car.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must hold valid right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
The role includes wound care, palliative care, IV drug administration, medication/injection administration, diabetes management, and other diverse skills.
We have a full-time vacancy but may consider 30 hours for the post. The role requires working weekends, late shifts (until 8 pm), and bank holidays on a pro-rata basis.
Our training and development are excellent, offering rapid upskilling and support with new skills. Newly qualified staff will have access to a preceptorship program and clinical upskilling to support their transition to an RGN.
