Overview
We are working in partnership with a long-established and highly respected manufacturer specialising in highway infrastructure solutions. Operating from a modern manufacturing facility, the company delivers premium UK-made products with fast turnaround times and exceptional technical support. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure the production facility continues to provide on-time-in-full support.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on production equipment.
* Conduct PUWER and LOLER compliance checks to ensure systems are always maintained.
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.
* Support the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
* Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and quality teams to minimise downtime.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
* Knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, DSEAR, and machinery safety legislation.
* Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable (training provided if required).
