* Developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives
* Leading supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation and performance management
* Driving cost savings, value creation and risk mitigation across the supply chain
* Managing a small team, ensuring clear development pathways and high engagement
* Building strong cross-functional relationships with operations, engineering and finance
* Ensuring compliance with quality, ethical and sustainability standards
Profile
* Proven experience in a purchasing leadership role within manufacturing or engineering environments
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels
* Experience of developing supplier partnerships and driving continuous improvement
* A proactive, strategic mindset with a track record of delivering measurable results
* Previous people management experience
* SAP experience or an equivalent ERP
* Good Excel knowledge (formula level)
