ICP Search is a specialist executive search firm working globally within elite sport. We are one of the very few firms in the UK building a dedicated Women's Football practice — built on the conviction that the growth of the women's game demands genuine specialist expertise in leadership talent, not a secondary focus within a broader brief. As investment accelerates, broadcast deals expand, and the commercial infrastructure of women's football matures, the demand for senior leadership is outpacing the supply of people who truly understand the market.
We are building the practice to close that gap.
About the Role
Women's football is the fastest-growing area of professional sport in the UK. New clubs are being launched, existing clubs are professionalising rapidly, and the ecosystem of agencies, broadcasters, and commercial partners is expanding in parallel. Very few executive search firms have committed to this space with genuine depth. This is a real opportunity to help build a first-of-its-kind practice from the ground up — and to become a recognised expert in one of sport's most exciting talent markets.
What You'll Be Doing
* Mapping all clubs with full organisational structures and senior leadership contacts
* Tracking appointments across clubs, national federations (FA, UEFA), and women's sport agencies
* Monitoring investment activity, new club launches, and international league development
* Building candidate profiles for GM, CEO, Head of Recruitment, Commercial Director, and senior coaching roles
* Researching the growing ecosystem of women's sport media brands, rights holders, and commercial partners
* Producing weekly intelligence updates on women's football business and leadership news
* Supporting ICP Search's marketing and content with material focused on the women's game
What We're Looking For
* Passionate about women's football and women's sport more broadly — you follow it, you understand it, you want to work within it
* Recently graduated in Sport Management, Sport Business, Business, Journalism, Media, or a related field
* Strong research and analytical skills with a high standard of written output
* A self-starter who can manage their own workload and take ownership of their area
* Solid understanding of the WSL landscape — clubs, key figures, commercial context, and where the game is heading
* A genuine interest in Executive search and pursuing a career within it
