Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
* Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) and provide detailed technical feedback
* Perform pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure quality and safety
* Maintain accurate, detailed records in line with company and manufacturer requirements
* Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high standards
* As a Senior Vehicle Technician support apprentices and junior technicians in the workshop
* Participate in ongoing training and development programmes
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and workshop protocols
Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
* Level 3 IMI or City & Guilds qualified Vehicle Technician (or equivalent)
* Proven diagnostic and fault-finding experience
* Strong understanding of manufacturer standards and procedures
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to obtain EV certification (if not already qualified)
* Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
* Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
* Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
