SEMH Teacher - Specialist Setting (Epilepsy & Neurological Conditions)

Location: LingfieldContract: Full-time / PermanentSalary: £130 - £200 dependant on qualifications and experiece

We are seeking a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school supporting children and young people with epilepsy and associated neurological, emotional, and mental health needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a highly supportive, therapeutic environment where small class sizes and multidisciplinary collaboration allow staff to make a genuine difference to pupils' lives.

The Role

As an SEMH Teacher, you will:

* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs and epilepsy
* Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development
* Work closely with therapists, clinicians, and support staff to implement individual education and care plans
* Use trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support learning and wellbeing
* Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Has experience working with SEMH needs, SEND, or vulnerable learners
* Has a strong understanding of behaviour support and emotional wellbeing
* Is calm, patient, and resilient, with excellent communication skills
* Is committed to inclusive education and safeguarding

Experience working with pupils with epilepsy, neurological conditions, or in specialist settings is desirable but not essential-full training and ongoing professional development will be provided.
