Overview of Role
The Hygiene Team Member will ensure high standards of hygiene and housekeeping across the site. Responsibilities include cleaning facilities and equipment to ABSS standards, maintaining safety, and working a rotational shift pattern (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights, 12-hour shifts). Key Accountabilities
* Adhere to daily schedules and meet hygiene standards.
* Assist in achieving departmental KPIs.
* Follow instructions and guidelines from the hygiene department.
* Validate completed cleaning tasks with the Hygiene Controller.
* Identify and address food safety risks.
* Report hazards and defects.
* Manage workwear deliveries.
* Assist in waste reduction and site cleaning, including perimeter and canteen areas.
* Operate cleaning machinery.
Additional Responsibilities
* Be flexible to support site mobility needs.
* Work with pest control to minimize pest activity.
Person Specification & Safety
* Follow safety procedures, risk assessments, and PPE guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including COSHH.
* Report hazards and contribute to safety initiatives.
