Job Description
ERP Application Support Consultant required. My client is an established ERP Software Development and integration company that sells, develops and supports priority ERP across Europe, Australia, Israel and the US. Being over 30 years old, with over 1000 international customers, their experience allows them to help both small companies taking their first steps in the ERP arena, as well as medium and large companies, wishing to replace their cumbersome legacy systems.
They are now looking for an Application Support Consultant to join their office based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Operations Manager. This role requires a hands-on problem-solving ERP expert, along with supporting the current environments you will work with the team on new implementations at our customers across the UK.
Prospects will receive full comprehensive training in ERP. The right person would be an ambitious individual looking to progress into a ERP Consulting role, once they have learnt the product.
Requirements
The role of Application Support Consultant will involve:
· Taking phone calls from clients, finding out details about problems and logging this in service calls managed in our own copy of Priority.
· Responding to client enquiries
· Taking ownership of each case, working through each one logically and thoroughly
· Using SQL to interrogate problems, and advising the developers where required.
There will be a lot for you to learn and get your teeth into, and you will be fully encouraged to develop yourself and move on into other areas outside of support. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn ERP and SQL in depth, and to progress rapidly into other areas of software consulting.
