Are you a caring and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs?
We’re seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Chichester area. This role involves working with pupils who have a range of additional needs, supporting their learning and helping to create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
You will play a key role in supporting both academic progress and personal development, working closely with teachers and the wider school team to ensure pupils receive the support they need.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting pupils in the classroom with tailored learning activities
• Assisting with the delivery of differentiated lessons
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff
• Supporting EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children or individuals with SEN (desirable)
• A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Understanding of SEN and inclusive practices (desirable)
• GCSE Maths and English (A–C) desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
