We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Despatch Operative to join our growing team.
In a nutshell you will be responsible for:
To pick & pack – components, spares, and finished goods and to process orders. Each operative is responsible for their own health & safety around the site and must carry out their work duties in line with the company safety and environmental guidelines. Both warehouses including component finished goods and spares are part of one bigger team where jobs are interchangeable daily. Whilst each operative will have a main department and workstation allocated, you may be required to transfer within operational departments to meet business needs within your skill sets. So, flexibility within the operation is key to maintain the customer orders & supply demand. All operatives are required to assist in annual stock takes with prior notice confirming of the dates.
What you are already great at:
To pick & pack – components, spares, and finished goods and to process orders.
* To work to an agreed daily/weekly build plan of manufacturing demands within the operations warehouse departments.
* Ensuring that all duties are carried out in line with training & work instructions to meet the company quality standards.
* You need ensure that the work environment is always kept clean and tidy using our 5S approach and work in collaboration with colleagues.
