in spring, The Store Hotel is a new luxury and boutique hotel set in the heart
of Oxford. We sit in the building of the historic department store and Oxford
institution, Boswells. Our 101-bedroom hotel will delight guests with a sense
of curiosity and wonder, reflecting the rich heritage of the building’s former
life.
Our
growing team is already full of dedicated and passionate professionals working
hard to see The Store bring a new and refreshed luxury hotel experience to the
city of Oxford.
The Bars
We
have two bars, perfect for any season or occasion.
Our vast statement bar is located on the ground floor, with street views and an
adjacent fireside snug. The other is an unexpected rooftop terrace with breathtaking
views over the Oxford
skyline and its
iconic dreaming spires.

Here’s
what the role is all about:
As
a bartender you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and experiences
for our guests. By setting the positive tone for every guest’s experience, you
will help ensure the success of the hotel’s food and beverage operations.
The
role contains everything you might expect, including welcoming guests into the main
bar and our rooftop bar, taking reservations, providing outstanding service, production
of quality cocktails and answering any queries and questions our guests may
have.
All
bartenders will be expected to achieve and display a sufficient level of
knowledge regarding our beer, wine, and spirit offerings.
Ideal
candidates will have experience in a similar hospitality environment.
Be committed
to delivering outstanding service.
This role covers weekdays, evenings and weekends as well as bank holidays.
Full and part time opportunities available as well as casual contracts.
*Start date 1st April for team development and training.
