4C Executive are representing a PE owned, regulated gas network operator as they seek to appoint a new Finance Director. Our client owns and operates a fast growing, modern, regulated natural gas distribution network in the major towns and cities outside of Greater Belfast in Northern Ireland's and is one of the companies leading Northern Ireland energy transition journey towards net zero carbon. The Finance Director will be an integral member of the Management Board and will provide leadership within the finance function and for all finance related activity, incorporating financial forecasting, modelling, reporting, and HR, ensuring delivery in line with company vision, mission and values. Acting in a key role within the organisation, the Finance Director will drive the performance and long-term strategy of the business with a focus on value creation, efficiency, and investment returns. The post holder will possess the leadership skills to establish themselves as a respected and visible leader across the business, driving its strategy, mission and values. The Finance Director will be required to have the following skills and experience: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years experience post qualification. Significant treasury, and company secretariat experience. Proven experience in setting strategy and delivering cross business transformation, demonstrating strong change management skills. A proven track record of innovation and delivery of cost reduction and efficiencies. Significant experience in managing, developing and leading a multi-functional team. Desirable Experience managing functions outside of Finance (such as HR) will be advantageous.
