Purpose of the Role
To support the successful migration of commercial and project-related data from the existing RRT Works Management System to a specified new system. This role ensures accurate data transfer, proper documentation of evidence, and the updating of project records in accordance with organisational and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Transfer commercial quantities and associated data from the existing RRT Works Management System to the designated target system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
* Identify, extract, and transfer supporting evidence (e.g., documents, files, approvals, correspondence) from the existing system to the specified new system.
* Maintain and update project records to reflect transferred data, ensuring alignment between the legacy and new systems.
* Conduct data validation checks to confirm successful and accurate migration of all information.
* Work closely with project, commercial, and IT teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth data handover.
* Provide regular progress updates and summary reports on data transfer status and completion milestones.
* Ensure all data handling and transfer activities comply with data governance, confidentiality, and record-keeping policies.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with data entry, data migration, or records management in an engineering, infrastructure, or commercial project environment.
* Familiarity with Works Management Systems or equivalent enterprise/project management software.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
* Good understanding of commercial quantities, project documentation, and evidence control.
* Competent in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and database systems.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
