Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Leeds, hybrid (1 day WFH per week)
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 + bonus & benefits
The company:
Our client, a leading Real Estate/Housing group, is seeking a technically adept, Big Four/Top 10 audit trained Group Accountant to join their growing finance team in Leeds
Responsibilities:
* Involvement in group consolidation process and the production of quarterly and annual statutory accounts under IFRS
* Preparation of parts of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management.
* Assisting with group budgeting and forecasting
* Preparation of additional supporting schedules for reviews and providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders.
* Maintenance and quarterly uploading of the Company’s lease, depreciation, deferred charges, interest accruals and other accounting schedules as required.
* Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions. (depending on experience)
Role Requirements
* The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3 years relevant experience in audit or industry
* Relevant industry (Real Estate/Housing/Construction) knowledge is highly desirable
* Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team
* Ability to meet deadlines
