We are seeking a highly motivated enthusiastic person to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with a focus on creating an enjoyable experience for our patrons. This role requires a blend of management skills and hands-on involvement in daily operations.
Our British countryside inn located on the borders of Wiltshire and Dorset. We celebrate heritage and sophistication of British countryside lifestyle, from food to traditions.
Duties
* Supervise bar staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and adhere to company standards.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
* Keep abreast of bar menus, including cocktails and beverage offerings that align with current trends.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards within the bar area.
* Train and mentor staff in food production techniques, drinks preparation, and customer service skills.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to create harmonious pairings between food and beverage offerings.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
* Monitor financial performance of the bar, including sales reports and cost control measures.
Skills
* Experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry preferable
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food production.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A background in culinary arts or kitchen supervision is advantageous but not essential.
* Passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering outstanding service experiences.
