Senior Finance Manager
Job Introduction
Overview:
As the Senior Finance Manager, you'll report to the Head of Finance - Digital & Customer and lead the Business Partnership in key areas including our Loyalty Program, Brand Partnerships, Customer Analytics, Performance Marketing, and Marketing & Creative teams.
This role and its team will provide high-quality commercial support, focusing on business performance with a Customer and KPI perspective. It will clarify and strengthen the financials of the company's Creative Schemes Strategy and Budgets, supporting internal customers and the Head of Finance in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide KPI analysis on Loyalty Program, Customer performance, and Digital Marketing, offering insights into the customer base.
* Support the presentation and communication of performance metrics.
* Define and develop financial structures within the loyalty program.
* Integrate customer metrics into financial reporting to keep customer focus central.
* Assist in planning and forecasting for Loyalty, Marketing, and Creative areas, ensuring budget and forecast delivery with executive review and approval.
* Understand and analyze factors affecting marketing profitability, including regional profitability and division margins, supporting commercial discussions.
* Conduct regular cost and profit reviews with budget holders and senior management.
* Develop talent within the Finance team through coaching and supporting individual growth plans.
* Enhance the business partnering role of the finance team to ensure strategic involvement across forums and senior management.
* Act as deputy for the Head of Finance as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
* CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified.
* Significant post-qualification experience at an accountant level.
* Ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders; leadership skills.
* Strong planning and analytical skills.
* Highly commercial mindset with attention to detail and proactive approach.
* Experience in managing and developing large teams.
* Proficiency with financial systems and packages.
* Excellent stakeholder relationship skills in a collaborative environment.
