At DB Cargo UK, we're recruiting for Maintenance Team Coordinator to join our Asset Management & Maintenance Team.
As a Maintenance Team Coordinator, you'll have safety and reliability at the forefront of decisions to ensure that our vehicles and equipment is safe for your team.
Responsible for ensuring that all materials requirements are met.
Monitor progress against plan in terms of budget, materials provision, vehicle presentation and work done.
Contribute to maintaining a high level of employee engagement through transformational management style.
Ensure Area requirements for delivery of T&RS are met on a day to day basis.
Talent development - Supporting and developing and implementing training plans for all engineering staff within the workplace.
Update and amend RA and SSOW and write new Engineering procedures with the support of GTS.
Address staffing shortfalls, ensure staff welfare and ensure daily safety briefings are carried out including safety boards.
Ensure accuracy of TOPS / Maximo / MIS reporting for vehicles under maintenance / repair.
Develop and lead continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
We are looking for a leader with an engineering background who is experienced in leading diverse engineering maintenance with knowledge of traction and rolling stock.
An NVQ in an engineering discipline is advantageous.
Experience in project management would also be an advantage for this role as you'll play a part in making key decisions for you team.
