Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity for 12 months
Practice Development and Education (PD&E) are seeking an enthusiastic and creative administrator to join our team. We value diversity and encourage applications from all community sectors. The post involves mainly supporting the pre-registration team with administration and recruitment for the Trainee Nursing Associate (TNA) role, with opportunities to assist across other PD&E workstreams including healthcare support workers, clinical skills, quality and risk, international recruitment, return to practice, and CPD. This is a full-time fixed-term role for one year. If you are adaptable, forward-thinking, and experienced in administration, this position may suit you.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
1. Input and maintain databases, support nursing associate recruitment, organize meetings, and coordinate teaching session speakers.
2. Review eLearning completion, monitor attendance, and evaluate teaching sessions.
3. Work autonomously on assigned tasks, prioritize workload, and provide cover during staff absences.
4. Accurately record recruitment and placement data, produce activity reports for committees and boards, and use initiative and organizational skills.
5. Support recruitment and monitoring of TNA cohorts with the apprenticeship and pre-registration teams.
6. Assist in delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare, embodying NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity, and Excellence.

Job responsibilities
* Autonomously manage tasks related to TNA cohorts, including administration, data recording, and reporting.
* Support recruitment, course administration, and logistics for internal and external training venues.
* Serve as a point of contact, providing advice and guidance on pre-registration and preceptorship matters.
* Assist with meeting arrangements, including agendas, minutes, and venue bookings.
* Design and produce publicity materials, ensuring quality and suitability for publication.
* Manage purchase orders, exploring cost-effective options.
* Perform additional tasks during staff absences to ensure departmental operations run smoothly.
