Supporting the Financial Controller of our Huddersfield based client, this role will suit an accounts assistant looking to take the next step in their career.
The role will ideally suit a finance assistant or accounts asisstant who has progressed with AAT, study support can be offered for further qualifications.
Accounts Assistant responsibilities:
Accurately process invoices, payments, and expenses
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain ledgers
Support the month-end close and assist in financial reporting tasks
Help monitor budgets and assist with cost analysis activities
Respond to finance-related queries from colleagues
We are ideally looking for;
Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to daily finance tasks
Ideally studying towards or already holding an AAT qualification
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
