We're looking for a Service Manager to
join our NHS SBS IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in
supporting the NHS and making a real difference to patient care. You'll be
responsible for managing live services and platforms for several NHS clients across
the country. Working closely with our IT Service Transition Manager to make
sure of a smooth bedding in period for and new services or services changes from
day one of go-live.
Moving forward you will regularly meet
with clients to proactively driving service improvements and reacting to any
major incidents understanding how the service is impacted to identify and
prioritise issues.
This hybrid role offers a fantastic work
life balance with only one day a week required in the Leeds office, as well as additional
travel to client sites across the UK, that will occur approximately every other
month. As we are responsible for a 24/7 service, there's also an on-call rota
for weekends and unsociable hours.
What you'll be doing
* Managing a large number of live
services and platforms for multiple clients
* Responding to major incidents and
prioritising issues
* Working closely with the IT Service
Transition Manager and operations teams
* Liaising with testing teams before
go-live of any changes
* Hosting regular service reviews with
clients, discussing performance, KPIs and customer satisfaction
* Identifying and implementing
proactive service improvements
What you'll bring
* A background in IT Service Management, implementing
change requests and resolving major incidents
* Strong Excel skills with the experience
in data analysis, reporting and presenting insights
* Ability to coordinate with colleagues
and drive successful outcomes for clients
* Strong knowledge and understanding of
ITIL principles
